Please refer to SEBI circular MF/CIR/07/404/2000 dated July 31, 2000, and subsequent relevant circular prescribing the format for reporting of Monthly Cumulative Report (MCR).
In line with SEBI circulars dated October 6, 2017, and December 4, 2017, on “Categorization and Rationalization of Mutual Fund Schemes”, the format of MCR has been revised and the same is placed at Annexure-A.
Accordingly, from April2019onwards, AMC shall submit the MCR to SEBI in the revised format by the 3rdworking day of each month.
As per the existing provision, a Mutual Fund scheme is permitted to invest a certain percentage of its AUM in schemes of same Mutual Fund or other Mutual Funds. In order to avoid such investments being considered by both the investee and investing scheme, it is clarified that the investing scheme shall exclude the same while reporting the data on AUM in the MCR.
