-Paint or affix its name, and the address of its registered office, and keep the same painted or affixed, on the outside of every office or place in which its business is carried on, in a conspicuous position, in legible letters, and if the characters employed therefore are not those of the language or of one of the languages in general use in that locality, also in the characters of that language or of one of those languages.
 
- Business letters, billheads, letter papers and in all its notices and other official publications.

Change in GST
 
 
 
GST FORM REG-14 within 15 days of a change of business name.

On filing the application for change in business name, the GST Officer is required to verify the application and approve the amendment to the business name within 15 working days in FORMGST REG-15.

On approval, the amendment would take effect from the date of occurrence of the event warranting the amendment.
 
Accepted proof of address include:-

  • For Rented or Leased premises: A copy of the valid Rent / Lease Agreement with any document in support of the ownership of the premises of the Lessor like Latest Property Tax Receipt or Municipal Khata copy or a copy of Electricity Bill.

Change in IEC
 
 
-When an IEC holder seeks modification/change of Branch Office/Head Office/Registered Office address in its IEC and which involves a shift in its jurisdictional RA, a request to that effect will have to be made to RA concerned under whose jurisdiction the applicant exists.

On the basis of this request, the RA (custodian of the IEC file till now) will process such requests and amend IEC, if found appropriate, under intimation to the RA under whose jurisdiction the applicant wants a transfer. The new RA shall allow the person in its new address to carry out necessary functions and also apply for eligible benefits as per FTP.

- To Modify IEC Master details, select the IEC Master options, wherein the master details will appear in the IEC Master screen as shown below. The user can modify his required details.

Pre-requisite for modifying the IEC:

1. Valid PAN of an individual/company/proprietor on which IEC was issued to the party.
2. Valid e-mail id.
3. Valid Mobile No.
4. Online payment of fees of Rs 200/- (Two Hundred only), click on the ‘Application Fee’ option.

[Please Note: The user cannot change his PAN/Mobile No/e-mail id after logging into the IEC system].

In a recent circular dated 25th January, 2018, the Employees Provident Fund Organization (“EPFO”) has directed employers to furnish Form No. 5-A (return of ownership) online on the official EPFO website.
 
Event of any Change must also be provided to EPFO within 15 days of the change in Form 5A.

Change under
Shop & Establishment Act.
If any change regarding the particulars of the Establishment is sought, send information in the prescribed Form-G to the concerned Labour Inspector of the area, a system generated a form which uses all the data already filled in BIP wherever required, pay the required fees and submit the form.
